Default hot sauce/Chilli sauce

Just wanted to know if anyone has a bit of a store cupboard of sauces.

I'm just having dinner with three different saces. All bought from Asda ones a Scotch bonnet, one just says original chilli sace and one Asda's own caribbean style hot sauce.

Asda about a three out of ten, Original Chilli sace about a six out of ten and the scotch bonett about 9 out of ten.

I've got some insanity sauce. It says use 1-2 drops only and is covered in warnings about chemical burns. Yeah, it's hot. I bought it from Tesco.

They also sell Ghost Chilli sauce, but's even hotter. I'll get that next time.

I usually prefer to put loads of crushed chillies in though, as I prefer the taste. But you have to put a lot in.

you mention Scotch Bonnet - can't say i'm a fan after a bad experience at work...

bought a bottle from Tesco's cos it looked fun n i like hot stuff. before covering my dinner in it i decided to try a little on the end of my tongue to get an idea of how hot, and well, it didnt taste so hot so i doused my dinner in it... needless to say i regretted this about 10 minutes after finishing my meal.

I was in a right pickle, daren't go back to my desk incase something unexpected kept happening.
anyway 30 mins later the ordeal was over.

the sauce is still locked away in my desk...

I've got some Insanity from Tesco as well. It is very hot, but used in moderation, has a real deep, warm flavour.

I make my own if the chili plants produce enough fruit. Often smoke them to make chipotle sauces. Yum!

Mate at work is a chilli nut and bought a bottle of this stuff

chuffing hell is it hot. The only way I describe the taste (if indeed taste is a word that can used in this situation) is to imagine having a rusty 6-inch nail being driven through the roof of your mouth.

I used to be a wimp with spicy stuff. But like most things, you can build up your tolerance.

However, one thing does burn like mad, and it happens the next day!!! Toilet roll in the fridge anyone??
