Default Stock D220 Dunlops?

I've got the stock tyres still on my K3, they've got plenty of milage left in them... Are they worth using or should I just go put some pilot pures on which I can get a set for £212?

Thanks in advance
H

What do you use the bike for?

Mostly going to be using it in fair weather, rarely rain

I found the stock Dunlops rubbish. The difference was night and day when I swapped them for a pair of Metzler Z6s many years back. There are way better tyres than the 220 out there now. If the Pures are £212 fitted, then you have a good price there Sir

Still, why throw away tyres that have tread even if they aren't the great?

If that is original, from new tyres on a K3 they are due for a change ,if just by age.

Their not the original rubbers, the previous owner replaced them with these awful things again? Do you reckon I should run these out and then replace them or just get rid of them?

Do a wild rolling burnout to your local tyre place and get them changed!

A search would have shown this question being asked time and again. They're sh!t. For road and anything else, except pure motorway mileage & I don't find this pleasurable or necessary. So no, don't keep em. Especially as it sounds like you can afford the replacements. If you couldn't then you'd have little choice. But if you can change em.
