Bargain K3 SV1000 - GSXR forks etc - £1200

Howdy all

Long time no post, but it's time to sell my once beloved SV1000.

Basics are:

K3 SV1000S (on 04 plate)
9996 miles
Service History
No MOT (expired in October)
Currently SORNed
1 previous owner

I bought it in 2010 from its first owner when it was Burnt Copper coloured and fully faired, but after a winter in the garage of modifying it ended up looking like this:

I rode it and loved it for a few years until end of 2012 when I went abroad for nearly a year (should have sold it then in hindsight but couldn't bring myself to do it), so left it with a friend to look after. He never rode it until I came back, and since then I started a new job, moved across the country and barely rode it myself. Since it was last MOT'd in October 2013, it's covered 544 miles and most of that was driving it from near Edinburgh to my new house in Surrey. Since then I've ridden it once on an errand into central London which I hated, and I got a parking ticket on it the same day. I've never felt the same about it since.

When I rebuilt it, it had new bearings everywhere, stainless steel bolts as much as it could, new hoses, new chain etc along with having the frame and wheels powdercoated black.

It's got lots of receipts and bills along with old MOT's etc so the history is all there.

Mods include:

K3 Genuine Suzuki Gel Seat (rare as rocking horse poop)
LSC Urban headlight (MT03 lookalike) with custom loom and speedo bracket
Mototrax indicators all round
X-Rage Tail tidy
Aprilia Tuono handlebars with Renthal risers, attached to modified K4 GSXR 750 yolks
K4 GSXR 750 USB front forks and calipers with original wheel and discs (with spacers to fit)
HEL Braided brake and clutch lines
Custom Venhill throttle cables
Oxford Heated grips (cold in Scotland)
Oberon bar end mirrors
R&B crash bungs
GB Moto rearsets
and whatever else I've forgotten.
There's even a Scottoiler in there somewhere.

Bad bits:

It's been sitting in the garage for ages and not being ridden, therefore the chain is horrendous (it's embarrassing but see photos). Please invest in a new one!
Paintwork is a bit tatty and scratched from my boots as I'm not good at getting my leg over it seems.
Scratch on RHS engine casing.
It's not got an MOT so it's a trailer or van job.
It needs a good scrub and general tidy up.

That said, having just been outside to take photographs, she leapt into life at first touch of the key and got up to temperature without issue.

I'll be sad to see her go as I've had great times on her, but I have a credit card bill that needs £1200 to clear, so if you can give me this she's all yours.

That's a bargain, and it doesn't look that bad.

Low mileage too.

Pity I haven't got £1200, or space in the garage.

I don't ride mine often enough to justify buying yours either
