Top Speed ?

Hello all
I was out on my k7 earlyer which i only have a couple of months on an empty and clear motorway, i wanted to see what top speed i could get out of it.

On paper its supposed to do around 126 mph but sadly all i could manage was 182kph (114mph) with little or no wind, surely its faster than this ?
I have a 250 hornett that will do this=D>

I understand that some people will dissaprove of this but i had to try just the once

Maybe stricter emissions laws ha ha, my K6 will do 10mph more than that and I've only just run it in, they seem to get quicker with more mileage up to a point ofcourse.

Yep I ran it in by the book !
Its full power it would`nt even do a ton if it was restricted

get sv1000 it will do 114mph in 3rd

My thou does an indicated 123mph in third.

The 650 has been upto an indicated 142mph in 6th.

Is the bike revving out at 114mph or does it feel like a lack of power. The speedos are massively inaccurate but always high.
Sounds like you better get back to the dealer, it may be a blocked airfilter or a pipe of on the induction system.

Its a lack of power alright, it wont even rev out in 5th

Back to the dealer (whose about ase usefull as an ashtray on me bike) and give him a piece of me mind on mon, will let ya`s know how I get on.

That don't sound right - I've only had my 54 plate 650 for a couple of weeks, but it has easily shown 130+ on the speedo

mine does a 104mph and mine is restricted

oh ok...130+ yesterday....yaaarrrrrrgh!
