It's good to show his engineering talent, but I think it needs to run something to be a bit more interesting. It is rather dull IMHO.

Exquisite bit of engineering. Had to view video with the sound off as was at work. A couple of questions....

1) Assume it wasn't actually running at the end, had a sneaky listen and it seemed too quiet. Also lack of spark/glo-plug unless it was diesel but would then expect hefty fuel injection setup... Remember the Clarkson program one as having quite a "bark" to it....

2) No lubrication or cooling - won't it seize? Or is it just a desk toy and there's enough slack for it all to turn over fairly quickly (air powered) without really heating up.

I'd still love one of those as a desk ornament though....
