Update
Mrs sent him a ficticous name & address to send cheque to  He replied saying cheque is on the way and to let him know when it has cleared  Next phase is to tell him cheque has cleared and come to ficticous address to collect the non existent car from the non existent house  I may offer to collect him from the station

Haha, that just made me giggle. Would be great if you could see it through. Last time I got one of those, I sent a "get lost" type reply and got the most abusive email back...lol. I just don't bother anymore.
