That's about your lot really unless you want to spend USD760 on a penske.

GSXR750SRAD is good length, but way too soft for 15stone.

would it be a worthwhile improvement fitting the zx10r shock, i'm looking for things to do over winter plan on giving it a good service, braided lines, probably change the front springs and oil and thought that this would be an easyish job to improve the bike without spending a fortune.

Hello,

I stuck a 2004 ZX10R shock on my curvy. It went on with no problems and I am very happy with the result. A real bargain at just £40, you can't really do much better for the price.

Hi, does it feel much stiffer looking at the numbers its not a huge difference. Also how good are they for adjustment? did you have to change/modify anything else or is it pretty much just a straight swap.
thanks

It does feel better. the stock one is so cheap that anything is a upgrade really.
not played around with adjustments really as it felt good after putting it on.

No mods needed, you can use the same bolt at the top as the SV one, but you do need to get a new lower bolt. Can't remember the size, got the info from searching on here.

Just got my new battery today only 105mm tall.So the seat fits with the foam still on after cutting the battery box to fit the gsxr 1000 shock.looks just like the standard bike under the seat again.Shock has a good feel to it now just got to spend some time with the settings now.
