^ k3 gsxr 1000 shock im 16 stone and its a bit soft but would be perfect for you, jacks the back buy 8mm (not noticable) easy to fit apart from battery box bit (stock undertray) ohh and i sugest you remove it un like i did was a pain to cut when left on the bike
ohh and you will need a abba stand or 2 axal stands to lift the rearso there in no presure on the shock (paddock stands are no good) |

Anyone know the specs for Bandit 1200 shocks? Suitable for a Curvy SV?

Might sound like a daft question, but is the torque setting for the replacement lower bolt the same as it would be for the standard curvy shock and bolt? cheers Daz |

I used the SV specified torque. The bolt is same diameter, just longer, and the forces involved should be the same.
Btw I cannot adjust preload on my 04 gsxr600 shock. I don't have the adjuster. Can anyone adjusting it successfully tell me how to do it. But the tool, DYI or use some other technique? |

Buy or make tool. (I use SV stock one... s'reet. Chews them a bit though)
I think some places also make nice preload rings for stock shocks that you adjust by putting a bar into a hole
