^ not sure what you mean by that but at the moment i have the k3 gsxr 1000 shock with a 8.6kg/mm spring and 332mm long im looking at the zx6r 07/08 shock with a 9.2kg/mm spring and its 340mm long (10mm longer than stock)

using race tech calculator i need a 9.3kg spring on the rear for the sv

the zx shock is the one from bottom

you are 195lbs (14 stone) so you need a 8.2 spring not a 9.2

im 230lbs and need a 9.05 spring

the shock i have at the moment would be good for you at 8.6 that gives you some room for luggage weight

You have different gen bikes with different linkages! You need a completely different spring rate.

14 stone on a 1gen, I would estimate a 675lb/in spring

race tech says 8.18 for a k1 ?

with what YC is saying there is not a lot that comes close to what you need

That's like 460#, you sure you have put it in pounds right?

Stock 1gen is 510#. Think about what calculator is telling you

14 stone = 88.9kg = 196lbs

and yup for a curvy its comming out with 8.20kg/mm

though that dosnt make sence as stock is 9.2kg/mm
