got my bike in there at the mo.

I hope its not the problem I had where my clutch spring had come loose and was whacking the clutch cover slowly wearing it away. Though that was loud as I could hear it over the engine.

Cheers for the update - i am still having the problem too but think i hvae narrowed it down to the front cam chain! Unfortunately the little fix in this thread has not worked for me but i will take it in to have them checked out after i have finished pimping her!!
