Has anyone tried to straighten a bent brake pedal and if so what method did you use please.

I've also bent my brake pedal, it still works, and have been advised that as it's aluminium there's a very high chance of it snapping if you try to bend it back again.
The only problem I have with it being bent is that it seems to be slowly loosening the footpeg (over several months / thousands of miles) so the whole assembly will need replacing at some point. |

Heat it with a blowtorch and then slowly bend it back.

Yeh i did the same a while back and used a blow lamp to heat it up where it bent and hit it with a hammer until it eventually got back to shape..

It's alloy, so it gets brittle before it melts.
Better to heat it up, allow it to cool, then bend it.... worked on a gear lever anyway
