Just for info though the guy on the phone told me that the £99 offer only applies to brick built garages and ones that are on your own property, so I couldn't even rent one, which was my next avenue.

So I think I might just keep the SV until I have at least a years NCB (hopefully).

Perhaps I should have a test drive just to get it out of my system though.

Try powersport in Bradford there selling off the K6 600's cheap at the mo and i think they still got a silver and black K6 in. (silver and black rocks IMO)

Best price I've got is £6423 with a Datatool System 4, from George Whites in slough. A lot of garages seem close to that or willing to match, e.g. £6450 with a Laserline 862 alarm from Premier Motorcycles in west wickham.

I did find one lower price of £6400 with a Datatool System 4 but it was for a K6. I've got nothing against it but for £23 it'll look better on the log book when it comes time to sell!

P.s. I'm going for all black

edit: also george whites has the K7 in stock, no-one else seems to!

Jst be prepared for alot of polishing with the full black ive only have mine 2 weeks and u can see every little scratch.(It still looks better than blue and white tho IMO)

Gotta say, you aint wrong. Black gsxr's look very very cool. But then I'd say that, since im pinning for my dads

Black ones look fantastic, but there's only one 'real' colour for a gixer, the one that stands out. I'm a tad biased mind Personally I quite like the red n white clothes of the 600.

I quite like the red and black that they do too, I guess that was a K6 colour since it's red and white now (though I have seen a red and white K6? confused!)

Anyways...I've only gone and done it, haven't I. Put a deposit on this morning, paid for insurance to start on the 16th, got my reg number, etc

Hopefully picking it up the middle of next week or thereabouts! (it was a week extra to deliver it so I'll just go over there, it's only 15 miles away lol!)

P.s. blue and white is too common (mind you black is going that way too now)
