GSXR/SV1000 Calipers On SV650-Adapter Plates

Just a thought Ben will TL 6 pots fit my SRAD front end?

so i can get a set of GSXR 750 calipers and they fit straight on to my SV break system?

hope thats a yes because im buying some today if thats the case.

They will but the four pots are the better calipers from what people say. The six can cause warpping of doscs apparently.

My own conclusion having tried both was the four pots felt better.

Yes, they will fit straight when used with adapter plates.

I don't know of anywhere that makes them hence me getting some made. It just need a few tweeks for me to be happy with it but two weeks should have me done.

I was tempted to get some for the Sv but thought that would be overkill on standard forks and srpings

i originally changed the calipers cos the fronts were starting to seize up and i was being lazy and couldn't be bothered to strip and rebuild them!


just a thought not totally sure on it but wouldn't some calipers off a ZX9 fit? they have 90mm mounting points as do triumphs (i think )

Fitting four pots is certainly something we'd be interested in, but would the SV master cylinder then be up to the job?

I need to get a minimum of five made to keep the price down. Just having one made makes it a wee bit more money. Keep one and then sell the rest off.
