I only met him once or twice or maybe more I can't remember. I remember the first time I met this misunderstood guy (correct me if I am wrong but he was threatened with a ban more than once) at Abergavenny bus station and we went for a potter around. We should have met up more but we had continuous entertainment from his aversion to crossing the bridge when he set up the Taffia meets.

I am going to put a here because that's what it was like.

I have only known Hovis for a few months, but, he was one of the best people anyone would ever wish to meet.

My memories of Dave range from him trying to wheelie nearly everywhere he went, usually failing and Boris II puffing out much black smoke due to running on Diesel, to him drinking very much, no matter where it was and usually enjoying it the whole time.

In between there are his helpful nature like when he helped me when I had my accident and sorting out the meetings of the South Wales riders every month and camping trips.

I have good memories of Dave and that's how I will remember him whenever I am out on my bike now.

R.I.P. Dave

Just remembered on the peaks ride out Hovis deciding it was a good idea to pick up mr speirs after a game of darts shouting .....*crash*, hole pub turned round "****in hell you must way about 20 stoone"

Or later a quick conversation that left me giggling:
Hovis did you pay for your food at the pub?
Nah I forgot
Oh right puny paid it up for you
unluckee

Then actually riding with him a fair bit of Sunday.

I only met him at the AR09.

My memories of him goes like this.

Hovis: "What's your name?"
Me: "Darren"
Hovis: "Darren...what sort of name is that?"
Me: "Erm, a good one!"

Think it was Hovis who wanted to walk across the railway sleeper in the fire too!

So many memories of him, but I'll never forget the seeing him in my mirrors on my first rideout with him, all yellow and silly as we tore down Teesdale.

This sums up his humour, he arrived to go rafting wearing a pink bikini!

I need to get a micro sd card and a micro sd card reader. I'm gutted bread boy never got to see it posted on the org, and I wish I'd got it sorted sooner.

I will get one double quick and post it on here.
