Don't discount the Loobman either. I am running a Scotoiler and like it but fitted my old Loobman to a mate's SV and it is working well. Gets oil to both sides of the chain well and on demand. Cheapest option which works well. Bit bulky and function over form but keeps the chain lubed well. The Scottoil works well in the Loobman but it can be used with engine oil to be even more thrifty.

Many years ago I used to use chain saw spray oil on my SP370 puddle jumper, brilliant stuff or Linklife, but don know if either is good on modern chains !!!

Also a thumbs up for the Loobman. Got one fitted to the 1000, and it works brilliantly. A press of the button every couple of days and job done.
