Default New Flat Tyre Repair option ( Rubber Screws )

I thought I'd post this at it seems interesting. I 've sent for some and hopefully will never have to use them. I have the old type sticky-rope repair kit under my rear seat. I would use some rubber cement on one of these screws just in case.

Good enough to get home methinks

I'd be interested to know how well that holds once you start driving on it, and the squidgy tyre rubber starts moving around that solid screw.

I know what you mean and that's why I'd add a bit of the rubber cement

Great

Being a ,"Belt and Braces " guy I think I'd add a bit anyway as I wouldn't know how old or good the supplied bit was before use. I have several tubes of rubber cement that come with cheap bicycle inner tube repair kits
