It was a good paced ride and everyone rode pretty sensibly from what I saw so all good. The highlight of the day for me was chasing those three bikes from Newtown (R1, GSXR-1000 and Trumpet), shouting at them to get out my way on the twisties and being left on the straights!
One heck of a back pocket Mike. Was a cracking ride, couple of mistakes on the way (Sorry for the late braking Christopher)
I need to find some bigger gonads when riding on the road I'm still a bit wobbly after my off last year.
Once again many thanks for the trip, organisation & as usual a good laugh.

DAM.

looks like we missed a good un.. we did 370 miles ourselves . went to se a friend who lives in Ffarmers down aber way .. nice run over via newtown etc and we made a detour to go through landewi brefi only gay in the village place.. !

we saw Eddie izzard doing his charity run. just him alone.. awww coming the other way down a country lane.. I said to mandy i thought it was him and then a mile or so further on was the camera crew which confirmed it.

glad you all back safe and had a good day .. looking fwd to seeing pics. we did Elan valley on way back.. wow its soo nice there.. I reckon a lot of folk would die and og to heaven if an AR was organised for there they would never ever have ridden roads like it.. we are surely going back that way ..long ride to get there but ace.. I think the tent will be going too next time..

Tis alright Col, was one hell of a sharp left hander that one went into! I was pretty close behind you at times but always had a comfortable distance to slow/stop in if needed, and that was a perfect example of why you should always be able to stop in the distance you can see.

Ed, let me fill in the ** for you. it should read 40mph.Am i being kind here? I am not jealous at all of the obvious good time that you had. I spent the afternoon hurtling around a go cart track at Rednal near oswestry, what fun and boy do they shift and corner. If anyone is interested in the Elan valley i'm doing a run from shrewsbury to there on the 19th sept. For more details see my post.

Daryl.
