Its still not running right though, think it must be fuelling issue. Damn it. I might be able to afford both though so shouldnt be a biggie.

Forks are cheap part. Just need some oil and maybe springs.

If rebound stack is too stiff you may have problem with packing*. Are you sure it is brake dive clonking directly?

*Not THAT packing problem

Yea, its not rebound I don't think. Funny you should mention rebound clonk, my brothers mountain bike forks do it with too much rebound, or any at all really. What is it that causes that, got more detail, how to fix? taa

Anyway, back to motorbike. Certainly is bottoming out, not rebound, it only happens when the forks stop travelling

yay lmao

no the damper rod has a disk with holes (im lead to believe) and this disk hits the oil its a bit like when slapping water with your hands then the oil is forced through the holes and because the oil is think and the holes are small forces the forks to slow down < wrong terminology (dampening)

not sure if thats right but its somthing along those lines, wheres yc when you need him

I have no idea about MTB forks. They use some weird setup. If they are clonking when fork begins rebound it could be some seal has freedom to move up and down a bit like SV ones or it could be something loose.

I know it is not rebound clonk you have but if you have too much rebound fork cannot recover in between bumps so you use up all your travel which can make you bottom out when normally it would be fine.
