It'll only do the resolution your GFX card will allow.

If it doesn't allow widescreen resolutions then you can't.

As previously stated, all depends on the rest of your hardware mate.

Thats an awful lot of screen to fill and if your gfx card and ram aren't up to the job then you're screwed.

You should change the DPI back and change your font size. Problem is you can't have pinsharp graphics and big writing, the two don't go together.

Nice piece of kit though. 360 would look nice through it...

Oh, and no, there isn't a widescreen setting as such. Its all done through the resolution settings ie 1440x900 is widescreen, 1280x1020 isnt etc etc...

Just fiddle until you find something that suits you best, as long as you don't screw around with refresh rates then you can't do it any harm.

I have the 24" version of that and they are very good for the money. The native res on mine is 1900x1200 which is none as a 16:10 resolution. You want to adjust the resolution to the highest res for the sharpest image (also known as the native resolution of the monitor). With mine I have 2 7600gt nvidia cards in SLI mode and they still struggle for games at that high res.

At a guess it would be a setting in Word or whatever other word processing program you use.

Ask your annoying paperclip, he'll tell you.

Got a similar one at Xmas for my daughter - it has a TV built in as well
It came with a cd-rom, with some drivers, and once I'd loaded those it was fine. Before that it was stretching the image rather a lot
