I got my last tub of RRG from a bearing stockists (not Castrol, Morris's I believe). About a fiver. A tub will last for years if you're not doing brakes every day, so a few extra quid for ordering online saves hassle.

do many Castrol products and list BNS

Brake seals yes, but as for other rubber parts mentioned, not sure its A: Necessary B: Gonna provide much lubricant

Brake seals are made of a rubber that would swell with exposure to normal grease. The other rubber boots are probably made of a rubber that isn't prone to this (Nitron? or is it nitrite?!!? ) ... if it were all rubber seals didn't like oil/grease, then a set of fork seals wouldn't be up to much!!

As like the fork seals, they are supposed to be near grease, the boots on the callipers and the gear linkages I'd say were prolly Nitron ...

I'm only saying this as I am not sure red rubber grease is a particularly good lubricant that's all, so in places where normal grease can be used, it's prolly better to use normal grease!!

I used MGOC- didn't realise it's the MG Owner's Club until the tub arrived!

I even got a call asking if I'd like to join- had to politely decline saying I only used the site for an order...

Very impressed with ESM Spares - Ordered middle of yesterday afternoon, 2 tubs of grease on my doorstep 9.30 the following morning! Nice to have somewhere actually spend the rather steep P&P money on a good delivery service rather than give it to a load of (cheap) chimps like Citylink and then just pocket half the cash.
