+1 for plusgas
GT85 also good. But an impact driver and a heavy hammer is usually the better way to do it, doesn't remove the heads of screws like a screwdriver does.

I had a similar problem with my bar end. The screw was seized good and proper, nothing I could do about it. In the end I drilled as much of the head off the screw untill it fell apart. Then the bar can come off, leaving the remains of the screw, which I gripped with mole griprs and it came out.
As usual no grease on assembly in the factory!!! You'll have trouble getting any Plus Gas anywhere near the screw thread that needs it, as the thread is on the inside if the handlebar. Don't try gripping the bar end and turning that, it'll just bugger up the bar end, as it will just spin on the screw

Oh yes, the screws are made of jappanese soft cheese, so using any force buggers up the cross head

Cheese or not, impact driver pressing bit into the head as well as turning it usually gets them off. Pretty much anywhere on bike not just bar end.

Agreed, but only if there's enough cheese for the bit to bite on
