I don't doubt it! Cold I can live with, for a short blast anyway, but icy, slushy, sludgy, slippy roads, nah...zero fun factor for me.

Well that is with my visor open a little. I also tried breathing in different directions like towards my neck, seems to work quite well. I can think about these things being a pillion you see

I love contact lenses for that reason, though I was worried they would be frozen to my eyes when I got home.

I've actually noticed that since I've been reluctant to ride winter stylee this year, my finger joints have been pretty stiff. I think previous years have had a toll on them. I've been getting pain in my first two on each hand. Yet another valid excuse for not getting the bike out full stop. I think I may be turning into one of them lightweight types

i have a high level of hypermobility, every thing is super stretchy, and my joints bend way further than they are supposed to, very supple. I have been toying with the idea of supplements, but they don't usually have any effect

yup was cold, I saw -3 on the outoor temp guage at wandsworth so must have been -5 out of town . Glad I could get off at Guildford & not have to carry on all the way to portsmouth!
Fog wasn't too bad, glad I cleaned my headlight before I set off.
How's the hated jacket Dan? - I find it doesn't do a lot, but I'm thankful for what it does do.
Can't wait for my heated gloves been well over a week since I paid that feckin ebay seller
