The bike wouldnt be running to its full potential due to being mapped for the stock air filter. If more air is present (aftermarket filter) the FI will need adjusting to suit.
You may well find flat spots all over the place. ![]() |

Assuming it is a standard K&N it wouldn't flow much better than the OEM filter, their main selling point is there ability to be washed and reused.

yep mine is fine, smoothed out a flat spot it had and the low down throttle response is less jerky. i've not put it on a dyno to confirm it, but it feels better to ride, plus I have a nice deep gutteral induction noise as well.
