there is a resistor block shown in the K5 wiring diagram that has red, white and black coming from it. Looks like part of the signal circuit and fuel level sensor circuit.

so, can it be removed? Obviously not required for the lights but you might want fuel level indication.

I have a K3 race bike that has no fuel level indicator, only a fuel light to show reserve. I've never had a problem without one. Gets your ar5e a little twitchy though when the warning light comes on just before you leave the holding area for the grid

Tanx for the help.Won't be near bike for a couple of days.Maybe this foto is clearer.Looks like they are red,white and black.Wiring is standard and it plugs into 3 pin block connector and disappears into loom.The guy who said it is something to do with fuel level sensor got me thinking.My fuel lite flashes first and then stays on (as the fuel level level drops).Brother has same bike with race harness and it does not have the resistor.His fuel lite does not flash,just a steady lite when fuel gets low.No resistor means no flashing lite????Again tanx 4 all the help.
