Husky and i managed to get the shock fitted.. well more him than me , big public thankyou..it was a heck of a job made rather difficult with the mass amount of seized bolts.

The shock at the moment seems pretty soft but this might because its not set up , i will leave the setup to the pro's.

Any tips on setting the sag?

Does anyone know of any rear shocks that'll fit without alterations to the bike?

The 2007 ZX10R shock fits without alteration to the curvy. The 2008 like the one i have required cutting of the fuel tank hinge , undertray.

Not going to write the shock off yet , the preload is not set so it might be alright on the night

and who told you that?. Mines perfectly marvelous. Much better than stock. End of day, I ride with it on there, and if I thought it were cack, I'd know about it

Well, you've asked for no mods... and it's still better than the standard one.

After all, cutting the battery box, tank hinge is easy and well worth it. The biggest barsteward is to get the suzuki bolts out. I'd say go for it, you'll be happy with the results, even if you spend 2 days at it.
