Who cares about the pillions boots?!

Usually the rider spends more time on it than the pillion

this is true, which is why I took off my pillion pegs, and put seat cowls on both bikes. to stop anyone asking me for a lift..... ever

My link pipes a bit different, but it was a custom pipe, it curves right up, so that the can just clears the rails on the subframe, stops just short of the plastics melting

Oh nice! I'd be constantly worried about melting things but gotta live on the edge eh.

I do think that can would look nice about 1/3 the length anyway

its been done properly, never had a worry about melting things I bought the bike because I was so impressed with the pipe, amongst other things.
Its not as bad as it sounds, theres room for bungees, which is very important for me.

BTW there is a pic of it in my profile albums

The heat shield is supposed to be by your boot...
The pipe wont fit on the other way, I've tried it.

I am going to Stubby it, then it might grow on me. I love the sound of it tho, so it might stay instead of going low again

I haven't taken it on the road yet, but started it in the yard & I think my neighbours are going to be complaining at 7.15 in the morning
