Definitely do not use a wobbly bit of wood that you've repurposed from a rotten garden bench that collapsed when you tried to sit on it.

I tried to sit on the bench before realizing it was rotten, which ended up with me lying in a pile of splintered wood. When I was looking for a prop for the front of the bike I used a couple of pieces of the wood to build a wobbly support which contributed to the "bike fallen off abba stand" disaster.

ahhh I see I thought you meant you balanced the bike on rotten wood then sat on the bike! (with the bike fallen off abba stand disaster in mind)
