You sure?
What about how it will effect the running of the engine?
80%

You may get a small gain

It wont you'll just hear loveeeeeeeeeeeely backfiring at 3.5 - 4.5k rpm as you back off the throttle

Yes it's perfectly legal for you (if the baffle's in, although most people run them without ), just make sure you tell your insurance company when you've fitted it
HTH
It may add a few BHP!

Either way they probably won't do you if you're producing 34.2bhp if you have the 33bhp restrictor fitted..

I know the bike will run fine with a slip-on, but will a race slip-on be any different with no baffles?
Its a race can which isn't for road use??
1) Lmao! Someone's been on the plonk if they believe that.
2) Race slip on/road slip on. Same can. It's a CCC one, they're all 2" bore, standard stuff, a can is a can.

[Pedant] Actually secondary throttle valves and the fuelling curves to match, you couldn't knock so much power off with ignition advance without some side effects.

It won't affect it. The actual flow with stock downpipes isn't different enough to add power.

I think they probably would if you crashed into someone else. Insurance companies always look for ways to wriggle out of coughing up for your claim themselves.
OK it might add a few (very unlikely though), but it won't be anywhere NEAR 10bhp!
