Exactly the same.the leak on mine is now only minor but still there.Is there a good gasket sealer around and do you use it with the o-ring?

Like I say I used bathroom silicone from tops tiles, rated up to 150 degrees and it works fine, I think most will tbh. If the oil and cover get above that then I think you have a major issue

had same issue last week, gasket sealant from halfords. £5.50 i chopped the oring smaller and placed the cut at the top.

Drive the metal bushings out of each screw hole and take a fuzz off the length. Reassemble and hopefully you have a low cost (no cost) fix.

This (edit: warped cover) is not such an uncommon problem across different makes and models.

For my money, I'd go for a Woodcraft (or similar) billet cover. The price might sting a little initially, but the problem is fixed permanently and it is also a nice bit of bling.
