I'd ring Hel - maybe send them the photo. I'd bet they'll send you another set of lines.

I'll try to get a photo of mine tomorrow for you. My fairing is on though so it may not be too clear. I think if your brake lines rub it will be an mot fail.

Hey I rang Hel and spoke to a guy called sean there support is very good he has given me the sizes to check i was sent the right version and i was. I was told if i wanted them shorter I can send them back and they will cut them to whatever size I want free of charge.

I have a 52 reg sv650 s and the sizes they gave me are in mm
Original Front 760 and 785 Rear 610 I have asked for them to cut them down to Front 640 and 690 Rear 510 |

That's a fair chunk out of em, but tbh they look far to long don't they, I'm very disappointed with them. I'll either tighten these up or get the cut down but I'll never use them again, they just should be right (or at least close).

I know its a lot to take off I checked a few times when i saw how much i wanted them shortened, should be ok thought i checked how much the forks extend when compleley off the floor and the hoses should still be fine. Yea i know what you mean they should be a much closer fit. If there support wasnt so good I would be asking for a refund.

Sorry dude. I had planned several jobs today, your photos being one of them, but my 1yr old daughter decided to fall down our stairs this morning so we had to change plans and head off to A and E. She was/is ok, just a couple of carpet rub marks. Phew.
I'll take a couple tomorrow in daylight if you still want them? |
