![]() its a mighty scary feeling tho, going for a gear lever and not finding it, looking down and seeing it dangling snd sparking off the tarmac ![]()

Hi Tommo891,
I was wondering how the adjustment went and if it made difference? I got a new set of taller boots and shifting down suddenly become very difficult. I know this is kind of the opposite of your problem but I am wondering if I shall wear the boots for longer or adjust the lever position. |

It is always worth altering the brake and gear lever heights to that which is most comfortable for you. Bit like changing the front brake span, or the lever angles.

I ended up getting a garage to alter gear lever yesterday as i needed new indicators so they did it, its much more comfortable could maybe go down ever so slightly, im thinking once the boots are broken in i'll change it back...was so close to buying a new set of dainese boots £250, just couldnt justify it to the wife...
roll on tomorrow |

I went out with my tool set and adjusted both levers
![]() Like simesb said, I think this should be among the few things you HAVE TO adjust when getting a new bike. Especially for a newbie like myself. I wonder what other things might be to adjust ![]() |
