Good morning all.


I came across these type of screws donkeys years ago, whilst working for Snap-On flogging tools to industry.
Snap-On had just bought out what they call ACR bits for their multiple tip magnetic screwdrivers. These tips are serrated, these worked extremely well on JIS screws.

I don't own any JIS screwdrivers. I use ACR bits for all Phillips number 2, & 3 applications, & have yet to have a problem. If it wont come undone due to a seized thread, an ACR bit will grip hard enough to snap the head off should I wish to.
