but why would you do that ? the setting would never be right for your bike then, just generic

if your going to spend that sort of money then get all the mods done and then have it mapped properly and leave well alone

IMHO its not worth messing with unless your changing things on the bike that would affect the mapping.

Direct to ECU maps work fine for 99% of bikes out there.
Brilliant thanks
I knew someone who knows what they're on about would help!
Now the question is
Yoshi or Teka (and what's the difference as I have no idea)

TBH we dont use the Yoshi or Teka software for anything other than small low speed adjustments as we have some different software that gives a much greater scope to map the stock ECU. The Yoshi box will be more than sufficient though for most bikes. I dont know anywhere local to you that can do that and alot of places you may phone will say its not possible or would rather sell you upto a PC3!.

Direct to ECU remaps are £160 which is a full custom re-write. If using the Yoshi box then we would only charge £100.

RJS Superbikes at mallory park is my nearest dyno. They are a dynojet tuning centre, but Rob there mentioned the yoshi box rather than a pc111!
Last time I wad there he had John Laverty's bsb bike on the dyno. If Hawk Kawasaki use him then I'm sure he can remap my Sv!
Have to say though, I wish I wad nearer you guys the SV specialists

Thats good if they mentioned the Yoshi as most dynojet places will just try and sell you up on the PC3 and custom map as they make more from that. RJS I understand are well thought of in racing circles and TBH if your taking your bike anywhere, a place that is constantly mapping race bikes will know about writing maps.

It would fit as I think the connectors are the same but would need the map putting to zero and then one custom written to work with the SV.

Well it's brand spanking out the box, so can set the map to zero on the laptop with the software I believe.

I was meaning as much for the connectors as I'm just down the road.

Wanna buy it Dave? Was going onto e-bay with the rest if I ever got round to it.
