oh joy, thought only the gen1 was plastic n that they learnt from that mistake with gen2

The 2gen cover is a casting...

And it wasn't a mistake, the plastic there is actually good as metal ones get a lot of condensation inside.

Geodude, when you used the Loctite silicone did you put the o-ring seal back in, or just use the silicone and use enough to not need the o-ring?
