Ah, thanks for the diagram

Yeah, from looking at the photo of the Arrow system, it looks like it does replace that entire section and bolt straight on.

No clamp needed after all then

That's a pointy diagram. ..just saw you're talking about curvy. Go to alpha sports.com and look for curvy diagram.

Had a look at alphasports.com

Apart from the shape of the rear header pipe the setup looks the same, so no clamp needed on the Arrow system.
