well since the bike was working before hand then you have obviously disturbed something. so what does that tell you to do.

Default Pointy won't start

Ask the motorcycle gods why it stopped working after riding home after adjusting it and before starting this morning!

And check the switch on the lever when I get home

Default Pointy won't start

Well she starts!

Found the switch which I never knew was there. Turns out the lever doesn't even use it, the plunger is out and the bike starts. If I push the plunger in it doesn't so I think the wires may have been reversed or something.

Anyway thanks to all who said it would be the switch, feel like a complete knob!

The prong/plunger or whatever sits in a little slot on the lever.

If you're still having problems I can always have a look saturday or something.

Or you have cack cheapo wobbly Chinese levers like mine, so sometimes they activate the switch sometimes they don't, when it doesn't I have to move the lever a notch.

Useless crap that I need to get removed. My clutch switch has been moved to the clutch actuator under the front sprocket cover for some reason too.

Jason,

Think you have the same ones as me so would be good to see how yours work but I think it is a bit of a trek just for that, will see if the GM lot are planning anything.

Yeah they are exactly the same as yours and not had a problem unless you adjust closer than about 4 I think.

If not it's a good excuse for me to go for long(ish) ride.
