J&S IXS textile jacket stayed perfectly dry in a 300 mile trip to Scotland in constant rain.

My Alpinestars Long Range 2 (Drystar) jacket and trousers have been excellent. No leaks so far. Had them about a year and a half.

HG Master LT jacket and trousers has kept me dry in all sorts of rain, including a couple of stupidly heavy trips - did a run from Watford to Westminster in really heavy rain, but I'd dried out by the time I'd cleared security for a meeting in Parliament. If it does stop while you're riding, you can watch the water roll off the outer layer.
