Default Used tyre opinions?

Maxxis pairs on eBay for about £150, obviously fitting will make it dearer - but they're OK tyres for the money.

Michelin Pilot roads still on offer at M&P £143 a pair. Had a set on my 1200 & very pleased with them.

That would be a good choice - excellent price too.

I know you are looking at 2nd hand or mail order from the above, you could also have a look at Watlings in catford, essential rubber up by the blackwall tunnel or even FWR in town. All do deals now and again and sometimes can be as cheap as an online deal (well nearly) and all offer a ride in/out service.

If you're strapped for cash, or even if you aren't, it's a doddle to fit your own tyres. Hardest part is breaking the bead on the old ones. I just use a trolley jack under the van tow bar. Why pay a tenner a wheel when you can do it yourself?
