dealers have to charge the times that suzuki state in the works schedule so every dealer is the same. it's then up to the dealers to set their own hourly rates.
i hate doing valves so i'll wait till my local suzuki dealer does their winter 1/2 price workshop rates. BTW. as long as the shims are still in spec then you should not be charged for swapping them out as they will go back into stock (being a suzuki dealer they should have a shim kit). if you do get charged then make sure you get the shims that came out. |

Some will charge by Suzuki's flat rate time..some will charge actual time taken, its purely down to the dealer the end charging time. |
