I'm pretty sure mine came with a tube of super glue? If it didn't that's what have held mine on for the past two years no issues.

I used super glue, worked a treat.
Roughed up the bar a bit first tho. |

Tried superglue on the wife's ER6 and it broke free a month later. Bought some Renthal grip glue and so far so good.
