I old"er" and dull these days. Autumn= both wheels on the ground. Autumn= smooth acceleration. Autumn = Lower top speed.

Sorry to hear you managed about only 120 on the SV?!!??!?

I had a Honda CBR400 (jap import) and it too was limited to 118. It was possible to convert the speedo drive so that Kilometers read a Miles, so you'd then need to go 190mph before limited kicked in!! It was a mechanical speedo for that so was easier to do...

All the Japanese import cars I've had have been restricted to 112mph by local regulation - so I'm not surprised if Japanese spec bikes are similarly restricted. Factoring in removing/bypassing the limiter is part of the budgeting cost of 'do I buy a cheap import'.

I've got one of those electronic inline one in the shed (had it before changing the clocks to uk ones), make me a reasonable offer and it's yours?

sorry looks like ive upset some people. well perhaps everyone doesnt ride the way i do but over here in spain we can get away with a bit more than i used to in england it was 25 yesterday and theres nothing like a good long rip in the country. theres still diesel on the road and the road manners are not to good. any way didnt mean to **** any one off thanks for all the help
