I just let mine dribble down the slope of where I clean my bike and get washed away by the rain

I'd go to the local tip and ask the guy there. Although usually very dirty and looking like something dragged out the pond, these guys do know their stuff.

Is it just me that leaves the top off the container with the dirty parafin/kerosene in it to let it evaporate. Then throw the dried residue in the bin
