Actaully, checking the site, it was a 750....
They were basically a GSX750ES with flash bodywork. I owned a fully faired GSX750EFE at about the same time those hit our shores, there was very little difference aside from the looks.

Mine runs OK once it's going, but it *will not* start from cold without a squirt of Easy Start. I'm looking forward to warmer weather (in about 6 months) to see whether it's just because it's effin cold at the moment.

I've seen the pics of the one you're spannering - it's rather hideous, isn't it?

GSXR 750 k8 in black, thankyou very much . Still got the best part of 2 years til my restriction is up though, so I have a while to save..
The only other contender is the daytona 675.

I want something between SS600 and SS1000, and a new bike, so the 750 is the best looking one so far. It'd be nice if kwak brought out something in that range.. *wishful thinking*

Being a cynical tight£rse barsteward I dont want to be spending too much hardearned on it,so I could be looking at something older that will go up in value rather than down, and very much a second(or third)bike. So I look around for a model that has done its depreciation,is a great bike,is stunningly beautiful and is THE absolute design icon of its generation.Surprised I never thought of it before-----The Ducati 916 996 998.

That's why I bought the Dullsville. A good choice I am sure you will agree.
