I work for a bus company and as such I can confirm that we have a large number of complete helmets working for us who would most definately be forgetful enough to leave the filler cap off and splosh diesel all over the road.

I know they do, i often filter past them as its sloshing out everywhere.

Nice to have the money to throw away.

Yeah- but this was a quiet residential road. 400m from the main road- nothing industrial to invite too many HGV's about, but I guess it takes just 1 idiot delivery lorry...

Was so trod in from cars that it wasn't easy to spot either until looking hard. Never mind, eh?

Aye its a real pain in the **** to see when its been there a few days. Just looks like a dark patch . Be glad you didnt get the fron washing out on you.
