Found some pics on my mobile. These are the last... PROMISE.

Mrs Combatfred with a stunningly clean and a tad overloaded Hayabusa.

Grommet had the best seat in the house!

Mrs Combatfred smiles for the camera, then says "Won't it handle like you've got 2 pillions?"..................... (It felt more like 3)

Breakfast at Applecross.

Smile Pete!

A meal at the Applecross Inn. What a steak that was!

MrsCombatfred's dessert.

And mine.....YAY!

THE END. x

I didn't think I took all that many but after sorting them out I'm left with 80 odd pictures, so enjoy.

PunyXpress and Pete basking in the sunshine at the (Glasgow?) services.

A couple of pictures of the wigwam we stayed in at Strathfillan. This is the chosen camp-site for GM2.

A couple of pictures of the stunning scenery from where I was standing.

A look inside the small 4 person wigwam we were in.

As soon as we pulled up here I gave out a wee chuckle in my helmet and wondered if history would repeat itself.

The next morning and after chucking all the luggage back onto our bikes we headed a couple of miles down the road to Tyndrum lodge for the all you can eat breakfast for a fiver.

Not long after the ride got under way it come to a pause with PeterCo getting tugged. I then turned to Kilted Ginger and asked about the police helicopter but got re-assured that it won't be a problem. The rest of the road was done with caution and good job too as we passed a speed camera van and a large police car.

The Duke and SV looking on.

The bike parked up and strapped down on the ferry.

The bikes at the Applecross camp site.

A great view across the water.

The group all having a good chin-wag at the camp-site.

From left to right: Crippled Coopz, Wulfie, PunyXpress, PeterCo, Haggis, Kilted Ginger, Lissa, PeteVtwin and Rhino..

Crippled Coopz (or as I called him all weekend hop-along) suspiciously wondering what I'm up to.

The group rounding the last bend of an intense single tracked road.

CombatFred and Wendy on the Busa.

A small breather before heading onto the next bit of road.

CombatFred and Wendy.

Pete and Wulfie no doubt swapping stories about breakdowns.

Photo Stop.

Combatfreds broken foot impression.

The Duke

The Busa

Combatfred climbs the wall...

...Then declares war against PunyXpress.

While everyone went to help Kilted Ginger with his flat tyre I done the graceful thing of take more pictures.

The Busa

PunyXpress'es lean mean yellow machine.

Wendy wondering what all the fuss is about.

What a tyre with about 4 psi looks like. But luckily Kilted Ginger has come equipped for such eventuality's.

The women look on.

The problem with breaking down in Scotland is there's no one to hear you scream.

Cripple Coopz pah! There's nothing wrong with him he was just scared of getting his hair wet.

The Combatfred's gear up for a bit of domestic abuse.

Coopz shows his evil side.

2 Fem bots communicating via telepathy.

The happy couple.

Another selection of riding photo's starting off with PunyXpress.

Combatfred's

Peterco.

PunyXpress in the distance.

While they tried method 2 of fixing Kilted's puncture using a plug I took more pictures.

Combatfred has had enough of riding to Applecross so decides to walk in the most direct route.

The Fem bots come back from the bushes apparently looking for deer trails...

Someone was upset that the standard cans out numbered the after market ones so they gave Puny a Micron Exhaust.

The gang walking back from the pub.

The Combats packing up.

The great puck handover.

While everyone was coming back from thingy castle I got some shots of the bikes.

Here comes the troops.

1,500 miles later and I think this rear tyre is done for.

That's all of my pictures, if anyone wants any of them in a higher resolution then shoot me a PM.

Trousers, yes. But I only used them on the Monday when I was already soaked through anyway. I was hoping that the sauna effect would dry my leathers. It didn't. I will always have sympathy for incontinent people now, having spent the entire weekend with wet knickers!
