How do you get continuity through something and decide it is broken?
Unless you're completely off your tits.

You have not answered my questions yet, it is bulb which needs to light up, it is not hard.

right so there's something wrong with the light then, either the bulb is blown or the other side of it isn't getting power because it needs wiring up.

My interpretation of the wiring diagram I found, would lead me to believe that the neutral light works from a positive supply from inside the original clocks, and the side stand wire (blue with black dashes at the clock plug ) is the earth.
In other words, you`ll never get power from the neutral wire because thats the earth. Try connecting a bulb from the positive battery terminal to the neutral wire to see if that works ? Edit, or test it with the multimeter between battery positive. Last edited by Miss_Undaztood; 26-05-10 at 04:17 PM. |

the diagram i have says that the black and white dashed lines are the negative (earth) thats the same for the whole diagram and this has been the case so far with the other light's
unless the blue lead is the earth that runs through the relay that means i still need a positive for the power and the wiring diagram is very unclear on what that could be if that's the way its wired up and Chris its not the bulb i have tried it and nothing then tried it on one of the working lights and it works, the earth is the same one that works with the rest of the lights, the blue neutral wire is part of the loom and works all the way to the relay using a multi between the start of the wire and the end of the wire and the relay works as far as i have tested Last edited by barwel1992; 26-05-10 at 04:52 PM. |
