This sort of stationary test isn't a true representation of the state of the bike when cornering because the centripetal force compreses the suspension.

For instance, cornering at 45 degrees will make you and your bike weigh about 40% more. That's like adding another 100 kg. Because your suspension is compressed, the peg will touch down sooner than your static test indicates.

You ought to be able to buy replacement hero blobs from your Suzuki dealer, but you don't want standard ones, do you? Shop around for titanium

Cheers for that Warren! You learn something new everday don't you. I thought it looked a lot closer to the ground than I was when it touched.

Lets keep this between you guys and me though, I have a preputation to uphold.

So does that mean the fatter you are the easier it is to get your pegs down?
