Reported it to my insurance and they recorded it as a non fault claim.

Then they said they are only my broker & I have to go through the whole thing again with the underwriter

Bad news.Did you actually hit the car or just put it down on the road?
Either way if it pulled out on you it caused the crash and I reckon the car is 100% to blame.

Bummer Stu - sorry to read about the accident. Sounds like a fair bit of cosmetic damage. Hope you get to claim it all back to get the bike 100%.

If anyone starts to make noise about your speed, go directly to a good lawyer/solicitor, do not pass go. Yor case is absolutely ironclad, he pulled into oncoming traffic, end of. Your speed's irrelevant to the accident. As long as you were below the limit when you hit him at least, and still in control of the bike... Like's been said, if he's saying he saw you and you were speeding, he's admitting to stopping in front of you despite knowing you were there, end of.

And also, glad you're OK

Oh nuts.

Glad you're still in one piece Stu. Hope you can still make it over to France old boy!

I'd also like to add my voice the chorus of 'car drivers fault'.
