Not quite 100% sure on that DMM. Mine is labelled differently. I THINK COm should have the black, and 10ADC the red. So the opposite to what you have.

I'll check exactly what the labels are on mine when I get home for you.

Basically COM is the black one (earth)
Red one for measuring voltage goes in the middle one V(omega)mA
Red one for measuring CURRENT goes in the top one 10A DCA

Black always stays in COM.

For measuring the bike voltage, click the dial to point to 20 in the DCV section (anticlockwise 3).

Then you are all set.

Yea Blue, just had an 'End of day' head fsck. See my help post in IB for more reasons on why the head fsck is so bad today!
