I find the dogs do the same...and then when they get bored because you've left the bike parked up, they rip the seats to peices

Mine must be more loyal then yours, if your real flash then you can go for the wolf alarm, but you need to watch out for it going rabid.

Thats a little different thats a magnet moving past a coil and causing a current. That still needs metal... Metal that isnt in Petrol, not anymore...

Thats still different. You need a SHED load of power to make that work and I dont think a car could produce that power to MRI scan the fuel as it flows past

Metal of the magnet, I don't think the conductor would actually need to be metallic for this to work. Also the lead in petrol was TEL which being an organic compound, I'd bet £0.01 doesn't conduct... So didn't make a difference with 4 star either...

Anyway. Don't buy one.

I suspect that any activity could be due to surface catalysis reactivity; but this would be pretty poor given petrol is, mostly, alkanes, and therefore won't absorb so great onto the surface.

I also suspect that it dosn't have any neodynium in the product

And tetra ethyl lead won't conduct electricity either, you are correct. Well, maybe it will when cooled to a few deg.C above zero...but i doubt it
